What we do

We offer one-on-one Rongoā Māori bodywork for those carrying more than words can explain.

This may be physical, emotional, or something harder to name.

We begin with what is present — and work from there.

What this supports

You might come to us if you are experiencing:

  • physical injury or recovery (including ACC-supported care)

  • chronic pain, tightness, or ongoing tension

  • stress or nervous system overwhelm

  • trauma, overwhelm, or responses remembered in the body

  • post-accident or medical experiences

  • feeling disconnected from yourself, or your direction

  • something feels "off," even if you can't explain why

  • life changes

You don't have to have the right words for it.

Often, the body already knows.

What happens in your session

Each session is guided by Rongoā Māori.

There is no fixed formula.

Each session responds to you and moves at the pace of what your body is ready for — without force.

How is this different

This is not a standard treatment or massage.

Sessions follow the body — not a set routine.

There is no pressure to talk, push, or have it all figured out.

Together, we work with what is already there.

Where needed, this care can sit alongside clinical support, ACC, or other therapies.

Clinical  Context

This mahi may be included as part of a broader care approach where needed:

  • ACC-supported recovery

  • trauma-informed care

  • nervous system regulation support

  • post-medical or post-accident integration

Sessions are adapted to individual presentation and may be recommended weekly or fortnightly.
