Mirimiri and Romiromi offers a journey to self-healing that emphasizes the interconnectedness between body, mind, spirit and energy, restoring energetic flow, balance, function, and wellness back to you; thereby aiding the body in accessing its own healing mechanisms.

Some Key Elements to consider:

  1. Understanding Pain: Pain serves as a sign of dysfunction and the body's method of signalling that something is amiss. We listen to the signals and work with you to restore harmony.

  2. Mauri and Interconnectedness: Instilled within Māori, is the belief everything is interwoven by Mauri (life force/life essence). When the tapestry is weakened or disrupted, well-being is affected, and we are no longer in a state of wellness. Instead, we are in a state of disharmony, its impact reverberating beyond our body, mind, spirit and energy.

  3. Safe Space for Healing: It's important to us that we provide a nurturing environment. Together we weave a safe space for you to nourish, realign, and reconnect with your natural state, both physically and mentally, to bring you back to yourself, back to your own peace - body, mind, spirit and energy.

  4. Scope of practice:

    • Mirimiri begins with gentle manipulation of the body's soft tissue layers, assessing not only physical but also spiritual and energetic aspects.

    • Romiromi delves deeper, helping restore balance, enhance functionality, and relieve deep tension by stimulating tissues, muscles, bones, blood, and fluids.

    • Whitiwhiti Kōrero engages key elements to enable you to communicate with your pain for release, fostering a space for self-reflection and healing through conversation.

    • Toi Kōrero encourages exploration of creative elements, allowing you to express your pain through a vibrant, relaxed process, with all materials provided to tap into your artistic energy.

  5. Our Approach: The journey is collaborative; you are encouraged to express your needs and comfort levels, ensuring that the process is tailored to you.

  6. Respecting Individual Journeys: Acknowledgment that not everyone resonates with these practices. We encourage you to honour your feelings and needs, including the option to step back if necessary.

  7. Continuous Learning: We are always learning and sharing knowledge, drawing from diverse experiences and the wisdom of other practitioners.

  8. Communication and Comfort:  It's important to us that you feel comfortable and supported throughout your journey. Open communication is encouraged, and you are invited to ask questions or discuss concerns before beginning your journey.
